Our mission

Every year, tens of billions of dollars in benefits, tax credits and refunds go unclaimed. Not because people don't qualify, but because the rules are spread across hundreds of agency websites, written in legal language and hard to use on a phone.

OwedFinder brings those rules together in one place, in plain English. We show what you likely qualify for, roughly what it's worth, the documents you'll need and the official link or office where you can apply.

What we believe

Help should be free. Applying for a government benefit never costs money, and using OwedFinder never will either.
Official sources come first. Every income limit, benefit amount and deadline links to the agency that publishes it.
Privacy is the default. The benefits check runs without an account, and we never ask for your Social Security number.
Money never buys a ranking. Advertisers and partners can't influence which programs we cover or how we describe them.

What we are not

We are not a government agency, we are not affiliated with any agency, and we can't decide whether you qualify. We never charge to apply for benefits and never ask for your Social Security number, bank details or immigration documents. If anyone claiming to be OwedFinder asks for those, it isn't us.
