Summer EBT (SUN Bucks)

Summer EBT provides $120 in grocery benefits per eligible school-age child during the summer break. Each state, Tribe or territory that runs the program may call it by a different name—such as SUN Bucks.

You can use Summer EBT benefits to buy food from authorized retailers in participating states, Tribes and territories. The benefits work like a discount card at the grocery store.

To find out if your child qualifies and how to apply, check with your school district or your state's program. Applying is free, and only the program agency decides who qualifies.
